Joint Replacement

The success of joint's replacement is in the quality of prostheses, experience of Consultant Surgeon and professional aftercare getting back to active life with new artificial joint.

All procedures are undertaken following detailed consultation with the surgeons and their professional staff.   Our consultants are well practiced at performing hip and knee (Oxford Knee) operations by minimally invasive surgery. This means a small incision, possibly three inches, and the insertion of smaller, extremely high quality prostheses from 'Biomet', 'De Puy Orthopaedic Johnson&Johnson', 'Zimmer'. Highest hygiene level with modern air filtration system. No MRSA .

Epidural is the preferred method of anesthetic, therefore with a normal two week’s stay and with minimally invasive surgery, the patient is in a very advanced state of recovery on discharge, thus getting back to normal life much faster.  Unique rehabilitation program is developed to apply before and after hip and knee replacement.
